Cauliflower and Ginger Stir Fry Recipe

A stir fry surprise that is mixed with ginger to taste

Ingredients

Large Cauliflower cut into small florets
1 onion; halved and thinly sliced into half moons
2″ ginger; peeled, sliced very thinly & minced
3 cloves of mashed garlic
3-4 tablespoons of dark Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons of tomato puree
2 tablespoons of hot sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
6 hot green peppers, slit
2 tablespoons of sour cream
1 teaspoon of black pepper
½ teaspoon turmeric
5 tablespoons of oil
Salt
Chopped green/spring onions to garnish (optional)

Recipe Instructions

Prepare the cauliflower.
Wash the cauliflower pieces, let them drain and then coat them in the sour cream, turmeric and salt. Let the cauliflower marinade for 15 – 20 minutes.

Make the sauce.
Mix together the soy sauce, tomato pure, vinegar, hot sauce and black pepper.

Fry.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the sesame seeds and green chilies. When the seeds start to sizzle, add the onions, garlic and ginger. Fry this all together until the onions are glazed and slightly brown.

Add the cauliflower and coat with oil. Fry for about 10 minutes and then cover and cook for another 10 minutes over a low heat. Once done, uncover and add the sauce mix to the cauliflower. Stir, cover and cook until the cauliflower is just tender.

Stir-fry.
Increase the heat and stir fry for a few minutes. Garnish and serve.
