Cauliflower Fritters Recipe

A marvellous cauliflower starter dish that is very easy to make

Ingredients

1 small head cauliflower
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 medium onion chopped
3 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons water
¼ cup oil
½ teaspoon salt
Sprinkle pepper

Recipe Instructions

Cook the cauliflower.
Separate the cauliflower into florets and boil in salted water for 5 minutes. Once cooked drain and chop coarsely.

Make the batter.
Mix together the flour, salt, pepper, water and the egg. Stir in the onion and the chopped cauliflower.

Cook the fritters.
In a large skillet heat up the oil. Drop in the cauliflower mixture by the spoonful and sauté for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
