Lamb and Cauliflower Stew Recipe

A simple to make stew that is delicious and heart warming

A simple and delicious Lebanese recipe.

Ingredients

1pound lamb stew meat
1 medium size cauliflower
1cup chopped fresh coriander
3 tablespoons ghee
4 cloves garlic
¼ cup lemon juice
½ cup olive oil
Salt and pepper

Recipe Instructions

Cook the cauliflower.
Wash the cauliflower and cut into florets. Place in boiling salted water and boil for 2 minutes. Drain and pat dry with paper towels. Fry the boiled cauliflower in a little olive oil and set aside.

Cook the beef.
Boil the lamb in a saucepan for 3 minutes. Drain and wash the meat in lukewarm water. Return the meat to the pan and add 4 cups of lukewarm water and cook until the meat is tender.

To finish.
Fry the garlic and the coriander in ghee for a short while then add the meat and the cauliflower. Add the lemon juice and cook until the sauce thickens.

To serve.
Serve with cooked rice.
